Sunkeeper Solar’s Core Values

Environment

Sunkeeper Solar exists to better the health of the planet. We live in a global community, and the climate crisis affects every person everywhere—whether in the United States or in another country, whether in a rural town or here in New York City. Along with that knowledge, we carry with us the recognition that those with the least political capital are the most vulnerable.

Innovation

We at Sunkeeper embrace the opportunity to adapt our expertise and the expertise of our vendors and subcontractors to the challenges we encounter, constantly discovering new, less invasive ways of installing solar energy systems and other efficiency technologies in new topologies and configurations to make the greatest impact possible to offset carbon release.

Community

The company was born from the long-term collaboration of its founders within other institutions, which has birthed an internal culture of deep trust and compassion. Sunkeeper Solar always welcomes others into that community—partners in our work as well as clients and all those affected by our work.

Longevity

Which adds up to longevity. The earth is a tumultuous place economically, socially, and environmentally. Sunkeeper Solar aims to be a force for tranquility. A definitional buzzword among startups is “disruption,” but Sunkeeper aims to aid in the restoration of balance. If we can create a durable society in which people's environmental needs are met, we can improve the lives of our neighbors near and far, allowing them to work and prosper to their fullest potential.
